20240219b Tokyo, Disneyland

20240219 The Main gates were opened and approximately 3,000 guests who had been waiting for the opening entered the Park on April 15, 1983. It was in April 1979, trainees were sent to Disneyland in California to prepare for operating Tokyo Disneyland. The first trainees included nine management employees who would become the key persons for the Park operations.

Board a log boat and go off on a fun adventure but be prepared for a 45-degree drop down a 16-meter high waterfall!

The attraction is based on the animated sequences of Disney's 1946 film Song of the South The ride experience begins with a peaceful outdoor float-through that leads to indoor dark ride, with a steep drop into a "briar patch" followed by an indoor finale. The drop is 52.5 feet (16.0 meters).
It really wasn't that scary, but the Japanese get a real thrill from the ride, I'd hate to see them on some of our ride's back home, they would shit themselves.

The boys are supper excited, stay close or you will surely get lost in this crowd.

This is what you call a the new aged "Teenager" there a new bread who think they know it all with their spiffy blue shoes and god forbid if they even know what a comb is.

Toontown is the place to buy all your christmas decorations.

Floating on Toon Lake is Donald Duck's boat, the Miss Daisy.

The "Pirates of the Caribbean" is a ride in a boat as you watch a display of puppets with rough voices shouting with cannonballs flying across the boat and splash into the sea.

With the drunken Captain Jack Sparrow and his thiaving band of pirates go in search of treasure, from Disney’s live action film, Pirates of the Caribbean, and the Japanese just love it.

Referred to as the graveyard of pirates who have died while searching for the island's treasure.

Dad and boy's looking for some shade.

We thought they all set up for lunch only to find out they were getting ready for the Electric parade, surely we can squeeze in there somewhere.

The Disney stars are literally sparkling in this parade of lights and music, with Mickey and his pals, including characters from Aladdin, Toy Story and other Disney films, appearing on colourful floats.

The floats and characters are all well done putting on a great display to amuse all that visit the theme park.

The girls in Japan love to dress for the occasion, and they all carry small teddies and were head pieces.

Someones excited and ready to be spoiled.

Dressed in the traditional costumes of their countries, children of the world sing "it's a small world".

Hit play for the song, Its a Small World".

Opps, Grandma's lost so here they are waiting for her to find them, well I want to take some photo's, it's just all too exciting.

I have no idea what these so called hats represent but they have got to be bloody hot and they all have them or some type of head piece.

See! they all dress the same, even their accessory.

All the boys pigging out on a sticky Micky Mouse ice block.

Check out these little mates in the weird hat pigging out on their sweet ice blocks.
Nursebots pull vehicles that whirl you around in unexpected ways.

A last group photo before we leave the Disney fun park.

The Westernland Shootin' Gallery, come and try your luck with a Winchester in a Wild West saloon and when you "hit" one of the targets you trigger an event.

There's a variety of targets to choose from; shoot the player piano and you'll get to hear a short tune played and all for the cost of 200 yen (about $2) gets you a paltry 15 shots.🍻

We did try to get reservations but unfortunately it was booked out so I found this photo on the web, this would take anyone back to a dream child hood.

The interior is designed with motifs of the Queen of Hearts, the Card Soldiers, the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat, and images from the Disney film to make Guests feel like they’ve wandered into Alice’s Wonderland.

Disneyland Paris Hotel was designed to reflect early 20th century Victorian architecture style and to blend with the World Bazaar area of Tokyo Disneyland, the monorail station and the main entrance area.
