20160403 Des had been saying all around Tassie how he wanted to have a go at milking cows but it just hasn’t happen until now.  We camped at Orbost and walked the street and bugger me dead we walked smack bang into a Dairy Farm so we pocked our heads in and spoke to the owner, I’ve always wanted to have a go at milking cows would you mind if I came and gave you a hand, sure mate but be prepared to get shit on . Well! Talk about shit on, the first cow got him a beauty, right on top of his head and down his back and I couldn’t stop laughing, Des was not impressed. Arr, it’s only grass said Geoff the owner, he!he. I'm such a bitch every time I look at Des I cracked up laughing. Geoff and Des busy at work. The girl’s line up for their daily milking and this is a small dairy of 120 cows compared to others. I must say this is one job I wouldn’t care to do, the cows get milked morning and afternoon producing an average of 14 litres a day per cow which is 1,680 lit

20160428 All refreshed we take a scenic root inland following the Nav, which tends to take us on a wild goose chase, so here’s hoping we don’t get lost. Turning off just after Moe we go inland towards Yallourn North onto Tyers and brings you out at Traralgon. As we come over the hill into Yallourn I quickly grabbed my camera and started shooting, what the hell are they I said to Des?  These massive silos dominate the skies, and after reading about them Yallourn Power Station are the 3 rd largest power station in Victoria. It’s just lucky I always have my camera ready for that special shoot because there is no way Des can stop that quickly. We camped at Rosedale a small town with some quant interesting shops to help pass the time away, but one in particular that took my interest was “Rustys”.  Not only did they sell fascinating old wares but the artist made the most bazar sculpture out of old misused items.   Rustys garden art made from recycled scraps

20160426 After leaving Phillip Island we  traveled  along the coast to Inverloch then inland stopping at Mirboo North to refuel then continued onto Boolarra where we were told of a camp spot called Primrose Park.  Once we found the park we were the only ones there so we camped in the middle of the grounds and stay for a couple of days. The coast view from Phillip Island onto Wonthaggi turning inland at Inverloch. Our camp at Boolarra and we had it all to ourselves. I’ve never known anyone like him, Des is always cleaning his feet, he just can’t stand dirty feet, he’s such a girl. 27-04-2016 In Tassie the trips were much shorter, some days we only  traveled  25ks and we finally figured out that’s why our batteries weren’t charging up, where on the main land we are doing 2 to 300ks, which makes it difficult to stay on top of my blog, so while Des caught up on the washing and collected wood I blogged, bargain. We make the most of the
