20210318 The question is, where to go, gee what a dilemma, our intentions were to head towards the coast, but after some debating and on Davies advise we decided to head west towards Warwick avoiding the rain and what happens, bloody rain and right as we start our slow climb up the Cunningham Highway. Our first stop was the Crown Hotel in Maryvale where we parked opposite the hotel then settled in for a lazy afternoon watching Netflix. It's happy hour Ya! We grab a coldy and sat in the park watching the comings and goings at the pub, stuff this it time to join the locals. I started chatting to a guy and got the run down on the safety aspects of a traffic controller, talk about boring, we were more than happy when he left.
I entrust my garden to my supper sister in-law to take care off while we're away, so I took this photo so I can see what she kills.๐

20210319 The tap in the bathroom is spitting and splattering so we had head to Warwick to get it checked out but first we need to wash our pink bits at the local truck stop. After a call to the repair guy who promptly explained how to fix the problem saving us a trip so we drove onto Texas to camp on the Dumaresq River for a few days.
We now enter the Scenic Rim Region, a group of forested mountain ranges of the Great Dividing Rang, straddling the border between south-eastern Queensland and north-eastern New South Wales.
Then we enter the Southern Downs Region which was created in 2008 from a merger of the shire of Warwick and Stanthorpe.
The solar farm just before Warwick sits on 154.6 hectares, has 2,456 rows and 204.540 panels that follow the sun's movements from east to west for maximum collection of sunlight then at the end of the day they track back to the east ready for the next day, now that's impressive.
Entering the apple region in Stanthorpe.

Now this is a good one for Billy Connolly to take the piss out of, it certainly had Des and I going as he sounds his horn and we both laugh, then we spotted this sign, Ooo now we get it, silly Desie.๐
We bypass Stanthorp and once again I miss out seeing the Stonehenge, it's just some rocks Des says, shit head ๐ but we did take a different track heading the back road to Texas with some nice scenery along the way but the road sure need some repair.
Now to sit back and enjoy the lovely sunny days on the border of Queensland and N.S.W.
