20160420 Tas Forth, Turner Beach to Ulverstone
20160420 We had every intention's of heading to Mole Creek but decided on Forth where we camped for one night
then headed to Turners Beach Caravan Park to reboot our batteries that are low
and we can’t figure out why. We took
advantage of the facilities and had a BBQ each night over a few wines and
watched the sunset.
Forth Hotel is renowned as a music venue for
national and international acts, from blues to country to rock.
Forth free camp ground a
lovely spot on the Forth River.
21-04-2016 Turners Beach is a
lovely quite beach with little to do except relax and stroll along the beach or
read a good book to pass the time.

Amazing sunset if I had my way I'd be sitting on the beach with a wine, but sooky bum doesn’t like the sand on his petite little feet.
23-04-2016 The town Ulverstone is
a major seaside town on the mouth of the Leven River and we were told the local
hotel has yummy economical lunches, now that sounds like us.
The Ulverstone War Memorial
Clocktower was created in memory to those who served in WWI and WWII. The construction incorporates features representing
the three armed forces, linked by chains and surmounted by a traditional laurel
wreath.
The 1903 Furner’s
Hotel is one of those old lavish hotel with high ceilings and displays the history
on the walls as you walk through, very charming.
