20120606 Qld Eidsvold to Callide
20120606 We passed through many towns stopped at some but most of these towns don't have a lot to offer there mostly farming towns. We did stop at Mulgildle to check out this Hotel that just jumped out at us, well, look at it wouldn't you stop to check it out?
07-06-2012 Drove onto Biloela and realized we have been in this town before on our first trip, we did some shopping then drove onto Callide Dam and again no camping, so we found a spot on the edge of the dam camouflaged by trees. Des tried his hand a catching some Yabbies then we walked around the Dam until we came across some cows who were checking us out, stuff this I'm going back, I didn't treasure getting chased by cows.

The view overlooking the Dam.
Des cooking dinner with his new gas stove stand, isn't that ironic his gas stove is over 20years old, and the stand is new, (weirdo).
Sitting around a fire with a few to many drinks in very calm and peaceful surroundings makes for a great night.
A view of the Power Station from the Dam, Callide
Power Station is the world’s largest remote-controlled coal-fired station built
in 1965 and provides electricity to the national electricity market from the
heart of Queensland.
