20120218 NSW Sydney

20120218 to 20120221 Some science shoots I took on the way to Sydney it's really hard to stop quickly in the Winnebago, so I set the camera on Shooting Moving Subjects and clicked away, some of the shoots don't turn out to bad.
Mooney Mooney is a suburb of the central coast region on New South Wales, located on the north banks of the Hawkesbury River 48klm north of Sydney.  It looked like a great place for an over.

Bridge in Mooney Mooney on the Hawkesbury River.

Driving over the Hawkesbury River  love the old bridges.

Man what must it have taken to cut through this rock it was like this all the way to Sydney.

Not long to go now this is when we need the nav we would have been stuffed without it trying to find Beirut.

Arrived in Beirut Shane & John pissed but a warm welcome all the same, meet all the clan and it is a clan believe me, I don't know how Sonya & Shane do it but they seam happy enough.  We then settled in for a few drinks, well what do you except we are all Shannon's after all.  Shane's grandson Shane turned up & was playing cards that night & invited us along so cards & pizza it is, Shane my lovely brother went to bed, surprise surprise.  Des & I lost our money & Shane's(grandson) was keen to go to Sydney which sounded great to me I wood love to check out Kings Cross of a night but unfortunately it didn't happen we were just a little bit to pissed.

Pop with his granddaughter Angie sitting on there veranda in Beirut.

20120219 We had a BBQ the next day & meet more of the family but don't ask me to remember their names, poor Des was lost he couldn't make out who was who and I really can't blame him Shane has 6 kids 16 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren plus he has custody of three of them 14,13 and 3 years & Sonya & Shane love it, 'well' they seem to love it.

Look at the look Shane's given Des (rich prick get me another beer).

Pop & Nan with their granddaughter Ashley.

20120220 Shane and Cory were kind enough to take me into Sydney, Des didn't want to go which was fine by me Shane can put up with him for the day.  Were in the center of Sydney, now to find a parking space we drove around and around and eventually found one thank God, poor Shane was starting to get a bit flustered.

Shane tells me this Coke sign is now Heritage Listed.

I wonder why these pair keep on pointing out the gay clubs to me.

We had lunch first then did a boat tour of the harbor stopped in at Luna Park, but it was closed for repair, you could still walk through the mouth & see the park which was the only interesting part of the park, what a disappointment it has nothing on our fun parks.
