20120227 VIC Victoria Boarder Cann River

20120227 Yeaaa were in Victoria and parked up on Cann River in a caravan park $10 without power.  We noticed heaps of bikes coming into Victoria and at Cann River Service Station.  We had to walk to the pub to book into the park, so we had a couple of beers when we meet had some guys returning home from Philip Island, now we know why all the bikes.  Watched Julia Gillard on the news boosting about her win over Kevin Rudd 71 to 31 (poor Ruddy baby).

Des's Bro's
We put up the awning to cooked outside then it started raining and the wind picked so down comes the awning.  Theirs that sound of the Bell Birds again, do you think we could see them, not on your life but you could certainly here them.  The one good think about these parks are the nice hot shower and I can finally wash my hair.

Cann River

20120228 We woke to another miserable day so we decided to take advantage of the facility's, Des moved the van and stole some free power while I did some washing, arr bonus theirs a power point so I can recharge my laptop and update my blog while waiting for the washing.

We departed Cann River to visit Bemm River at Marlo for some fishing, apparently you can catch lots of Flat head & bream, that right you have to obtain a license for social fishing (what a crock of shit) besides, it's cold, windy and raining, bloody Victoria.

The road to Marlo on Bemm River was very pretty a rain Forest look and the majority of the road was a reddish color.

The tine town of Marlo a great fishing spot if you have a boat, which we don't.

I wonder what the Greene's think of this,
do you get the feeling this area has a problem
with Feral Dogs and Foxes.

Just an old Jetty that took my fancy but there were heaps of fish skeletons everywhere so that could be proof that there are fish here.

Nop not staying here Lake Entrance looks good though.
